How to: Create a play list for a slide show in PowerPoint.
Solution:
Create a .LST play list file that contains the filenames of all presentations in the slide show in the order of appearance.
1) Open 'Notepad'.
a) Click Windows 'Start'.

b) Select 'Programs'. (The 'Programs' submenu appears.)
c) Select 'Accessories'. (The 'Accessories' submenu appears.)
d) Select 'Notepad'. (Notepad opens.)
2) Type the path and filename of the first presentation to display in the slide show.
3) Press ENTER.
4) Type the path and filename of the next presentation to include in the slide show.
5) (Optional) Repeat steps 3) and 4) for any additional presentation files that should be in the slide show.
6) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save'. (The 'Save As' dialog box appears.)
7) Type the play list filename, with a .LST extension, in the 'File name' box.
EXAMPLE: Type the following filename for a play list called 'MYSHOW': MYSHOW.LST
8) Select the desired directory in which to save the file from the 'Save in' drop-down list box and/or list box.
9) Click 'Save'.
